How actions are made regarding permissions ?

I'm wondering what is the requests chain to create a folder in a webdav mounted one through netdrive.
My problem is that i'm currently able to create one called "new Folder" (by right click menu) whereas I shouldn't be. Notice that while I'm trying to rename it, a popup message appear with a "you can't do that" message.
Once the folder is created, after navigation and back to the previous place, it has vanished ! While it's overall correct (the folder doesn't exists) it's a bit disturbing for end-users : no warning or error message appears.

How are handled webdav error messages by netdrive ?

I'm not saying this is a bug, but just try understand.

Thank you for using NetDrive.

There're two known issues in NetDrive concerning the problem you encountered.

1. The first problem is that NetDrive doesn't show you any error message from WebDAV server. NetDrive only shows you messages which is handled by itself.
It seems that you couldn't make new folder because your account had no right to create folder. Unfortunately our product is very unkind now, so we're planning to improve it.

2. Another problem is about 'rename'. In some WebDAV server users can't rename file or directory. It's not depend on the type of server. We think it's related to configuration or any loaded module, but didn't find the cause exactly.
To fix it we need a server that the problem is always reproduced. We asked some users to provide an account to us.

Any ETA on issue 1 where NetDrive does not report any errors from the WebDAV server.

This concerns me since as I was testing I had an issue with this. A put a file on the WebDav using Netdrive and from what I could see there was no issue at all. I could see it in NetDrive.
On the WebDAV server however it was not written and I could see errors in the log file regarding permission. Issue on the WebDAV server that I resolved but it is worrying that from a user perspective there is no error at all.

Even if for right now it just says that there was an error from the WebDAV server and to check the log files there would be better then nothing
